Tianhui Tao
(b. 2004, Beijing, China)
A new young artist born in the 2000s graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts International College in Beijing in 2023 and currently studying BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London.
The forms of work include mostly experimental moving image, photography, sound, and text. Enjoy observing and recording in the creation process and in daily life. Inspiration of the works mostly come from the use of poetry and prose techniques, which are then transformed into other different forms, with moving image as the center of practice.
Works have been engaged with pursuing personal feelings from inside out, placing a perspective on the details of life experiences, often expressed in abstract poetic forms.
